Config Tool: Custom Logo - ImpulseRC/OSD GitHub Wiki

Custom Logo

Instead of the default ImpulseRC Logo and ImpulseOSD Text you can upload your own to personalize your OSD experience.

ImpulseOSD Logo button

Once you click the Logo button the Config Tool will read the Logo and Text from the device. This ensures that you will see exactly what is stored on the device - since it can be reset to the default font if you e.g. flash with a full chip erase.

For best results, create pictures in PNG, GIF or JPG format 72x72 pixels for the logo or 144x36 pixels for the Text. The background should have a color that is either transparent (if you use e.g. PNG) or is very different from white or black (e.g. blue like in the default). You can also load pictures that do not have the exact same size, however they may not look as great due to resizing. You can use a simple freeware paint program (e.g. Windows paint or Paint.NET) to create the Logo and Text images.

These are some example Logo and Text files you can use as templates to create your own logo: Example Logo and Text

Once you click Upload any changes you made to the Logo or Text will be uploaded to the device. To see the results of the updated Logo and Text please power cycle your PDB/OSD. Please note that your custom logo will not be displayed in the designer - it will show the default logo instead.
