Betaflight and ImpulseOSD: Please read!!! - ImpulseRC/OSD GitHub Wiki
Please follow the following steps so your Wolf PDB will work correctly with your BF FC:
-
ImpulseOSD will communicate with your BF FC via a UART. Choose any free UART on your BF FC and solder RX from the large white plug on the Wolf PDB or Apex OSD to TX on the UART of your BF FC - do the same vice versa with TX.
-
In the BF configurator, go to "Ports" and select MSP for the UART you have the Wolf PDB or Apex OSD connected to. Click "Save and Reboot".
-
If you wish to use ESC telemetry (if you use BlHeli32 or KISS ESCs and wired up the telemetry wire for each ESC to the Wolf PDB): Solder the wire Telemetry from the large white plug on the Wolf PDB to any free UART on your BF FC to RX. Go to the "Ports" tab in the BF configurator and select "ESC" as Sensor Input. Click "Save and Reboot". Go to the "Power & Battery" tab in the BF configurator and select "ESC Sensor" for both Voltage Meter Source and Current Meter Source. Click "Save".
-
GPS: BF4.0 and higher is recommended. Connect the GPS to the WolfPDB or Apex OSD! In the BF configurator, go to the "Configuration" tab. Turn on the GPS and select "MSP" as the protocol. There is no need to configure a serial port for the GPS since it is pushed through the same serial port the WolfPDB or Apex OSD is connected to! The WolfPDB or Apex OSD will then push the GPS data to the BF FC and you can configure and use GPS RESCUE in the BF configurator (simply assign a switch for it under the tab "Modes").
