Installation - ImpactDevelopment/ImpactIssues GitHub Wiki
Using the installer
The easiest way to install Impact is by using the Installer. From the Installer's Releases page you can download the latest version of the installer. You should click on the .jar
or the .exe
file (depending on which OS you have) in the Assets
section of the latest release, for example:
Once you have downloaded the .jar
Installer, you need to run it with Java 1.8 (also known as Java 8) or newer, so make sure you have Java installed first!
For the .exe
Installer, execute the file.
It will run and look something like this:
Simply select the Minecraft and Impact versions you wish to install and click the Install
button. If compatible OptiFine versions have already been installed, you will be able to create a profile that makes use of one of them. See Adding OptiFine for more detail.
