Process to Update Website - ISO-TC204/iso14812 GitHub Wiki

Website updates are provided are made based on ISO 14812 Drafting Team discussions. The general change control process is as follows:

  1. A comment is submitted (e.g., via the Issues tab of this site, via an official ISO commenting process, an internal WG process, or through a pull request)
  2. The comment is reviewed by the ISO 14812 editor and a response is drafted.
  3. The comment and draft response is reviewed by the ISO 14812 Drafting Team. The response is revised as needed and action items are recorded to reflect any changes necessary in the model.
  4. The ISO 14812 editor implements the changes authorized by the ISO 14812 Drafting Team into the editor's version of the EAP file (i.e., <editor's Github account>/iso14812>).
  5. When all updates have been made for a cycle, the editor issues a pull request to the development branch of the TC 204 project (i.e., ISO-TC204/iso14812 @development) and merges the changes.
  6. A new website is generated using EA's Publish|Report|HTML Report|Standard HTML Report feature NOTE: The report uses the "Vocabulary" Style, which has been customized for our purposes.
  7. The files for the newly created website are moved to the editor's local copy of the master branch of the TC 204 project (i.e., ISO-TC204/iso14812 @master)
  8. The editor's local copy of the master branch is synchronized to upload the development website without affecting the other files in the master branch.
