2. Decision Process to Select One Idea
Contributor: All but the ideas were synthetized by Luciana Bacci
We decided to continue with the divergence - convergence model that we used in MS2. But before deciding we used a criteria that evaluated the desirability, the impact, the technical difficulty and differentiation.
| Criteria | Weight |
|---|---|
| Desirability | 25% |
| Impact | 35% |
| Technical feasibility | 20% |
| Differentiation | 20% |
Afterwards, we divided the ideas into the 4 categories of the convergence (rationale choice, delight, darling and long shot)
The ideas that classified in the rational choice and delight are going to be used in the solution, while the darling and long-shot can be use for more advanced versions so that the ideas are not discarted.
Having this information organized this way made the final decision easier. We wanted to build a community so that a student can discover a group based on their interests, know how and have the space to create one and how they can keep their group with active members.
