Materials:

• Mineral water.
• 5 g of flour.

Method:

1. Prepare the mineral water:

• Autoclave mineral water for 15 min at 121ºC.
• Let it cool and store at 4ºC.

2. Prepare the mineral water + flour solution:

• Mix 5 g of flour with 50 mL of mineral water.
• Autoclave for 15 min at 121ºC.
• Let it cool and store at 4ºC.

3. For culture transfer, add 1 mL of the flour and water mixture to 10 mL of autoclaved mineral water.

• Nuclearia thermophila: 17ºC.
