Materials:

• Filter 0,22 µm.

Medium (table 1)	Quantity
Yeast extract (Ref. 212750, BD)	3 g
Malt extract (Ref. 07-080, Scharlau)	3 g
Peptone (Ref. 211677, BD)	5 g
Dextrose (D-(+) glucose) (G8270, Sigma)	10 g
Agar (Ref. 214010, BD)	15 g
NaCl (if needed)	20 g
Distilled water	1 L

Method:

1. Prepare the medium (table 1).
2. Autoclave for 20 min at 121ºC.
3. Aseptically filter.
4. Store at 4ºC.

Culture list:

• Chromosphaera perkinsii: 17ºC.
