1.1 Need statement:
There is a need to design and develop a mechanical counter machine to show the numbers as the counting begins. This machine may be used in quiz competitions, workouts, meditation, and any applications where time is monitored.

The cost of making this machine should be below Rs.5000/- with the dimensions 25X25X15 cm. The range of count lies between 0-9. The digits change with the frequency of 1-2 sec with the size of the digits being 6X4 cm. The colour of the body is black and the display colour is black numbers with white background. It takes around 3 months to make the product.
