The 'Crappy Jester' encounter is the 39th encounter in the throne room, it can only occur if you have a jester, allow rabble in your court and your jester has a skill of 99 or less.

The encounter text is as follows "you are visited by a townman who claims your jester is awfully unfunny and you need a new one"

1. Fire your jester, the king should not surround himself with the untalented
2. Keep your jester, a common man should not tell the king who to surround himself with
3. To the Dungeons with him!

Firing your jester is pretty self-explanatory, there are no other consequences or events that happen as a result of this if you keep the jester there is a 50% chance of -1 public opinion if the man is arrested, (+1 prisoner) and 1 in 3 chance of getting -1 public opinion
