The 'Farmer Dispute' Encounter is the 99th encounter made for the throne room, it can only occur if you allow no rabble in your court,

The encounter text is variable as the encounter is split into 6 different sub-encounters, they are as follows:

you are visited by a farmer who says a dispute needs to be settled, his neighbour broke one of his gates and wont pay for a new one

  1. Make the neighbour pay for the fence repairs (20% chance of +1 public opinion)
  2. Refuse to help (20% chance of -1 public opinion)
  3. To the Dungeons with him! (+1 prisoner)(+50% chance of -2 public opinion)

you are visited by a farmer who says a dispute needs to be settled, his neighbour's dog found a coin purse on the border of the two farms, and has kept it for himself

  1. Make the neighbour split the gold (20% chance of -1 public opinion)
  2. Finders keepers (20% chance of +1 public opinion)
  3. To the Dungeons with him! (+1 prisoner)(+50% chance of -2 public opinion)

you are visited by a farmer who says a dispute needs to be settled, 'my neighbour killed one of my chickens while practising archery, he wont pay for it because it was an accident'

  1. Make the neighbour pay for the chicken (20% chance of +1 public opinion)
  2. Accidents happen (20% chance of -1 public opinion)
  3. To the Dungeons with him! (+1 prisoner)(+50% chance of -2 public opinion)

you are visited by a farmer who says a dispute needs to be settled, 'my neighbour's cow escaped onto my land and trampled my crops, he refuses to pay for them'

  1. Make the neighbour pay for it (20% chance of +1 public opinion)
  2. Gate your land and it wont happen again! (20% chance of -1 public opinion)
  3. To the Dungeons with him! (+1 prisoner)(+50% chance of -2 public opinion)

you are visited by a farmer who says a dispute needs to be settled, 'my neighbour's daughter was supposed to be married to my son, but she's gone and married the butchers boy, he won't break off the wedding'

  1. Make the neighbour break off the wedding by royal-order (20% chance of -1 public opinion)
  2. It's his daughter he can do what he wants (20% chance of +1 public opinion)
  3. To the Dungeons with him! (+1 prisoner)(+50% chance of -2 public opinion)

you are visited by a farmer who says a dispute needs to be settled, 'my neighbour bought some grain from me, then burned down my grain field and tried to sell the grain he bought from me back to me for ten times the price he paid, the crop burning bastard'

  1. Make the neighbour compensate your loss by giving you his own fields (20% chance of +1 public opinion)
  2. That's a good business idea (20% chance of -1 public opinion)
