The 'Cursed Demon' Encounter is the 19th encounter in the throne room and can only happen if there are more than 1 demon in the horde or at the gates and you have more than 1 peasant. The encounter was the first encounter to use a demons face.

The encounter text is as follows "A demon storms into your court and begs that you sacrifice a peasant of yours, he claims he was cursed by a wretched hag and has marched all the way from the southern gate to find a willing king, 'if you sacrifice a peasant I can die in peace, one less southern demon to worry about' he pleads"

Your options are

• Sacrifice a peasant ("you have your soldiers pluck a peasant from the streets, the demon utters a few unintelligible sounds and you behead the peasant, the demon bursts into immense spectral flames that could can barely fathom and then he and the peasants corpse are gone") (-1 demon from the horde)(-1 peasant)
• refuse (nothing) ("you hear a demonic voice scream and before you know it the demon has disappeared")
• Kill him ("you hear a demonic voice scream and before you know it the demon has disappeared")
• to the dungeons with him ("the Demon grunts and marches straight out of your courtroom, a magical presence of fear prevents any of your men from attacking him")
