The 'Changeling' is the 24th encounter in the throneroom, it's the only reference in the entire game to changelings and was originally much more commonly occurring so was made rarer.

The encounter text is as follows "A cloaked man arrives in your court and claims to be a changeling, he says for a gold coin he can change his face"

Your options are

• Give him a gold coin (will result in his face changing and cost you a coin)
• Kill him (nothing happens)
• Send him away (nothing happens)
• To the dungeons (+1 prisoner)(50% chance of -1 public opinion)(20% chance of changeling escaping prison by assuming the identity of a guard thus -1 prisoner)
• Pay him to do the dance of the changeling (changes his face fifty times, known as the dance of the changeling this is one of the many wonders of warsim)
