The 'Bandit Share' encounter is the 76th encounter in the throne room, it requires a public opinion of 10 or less and requires that you allow rabble in your throne room.

the encounter text varies and can be one of five different encounters

• "you are visited by a bandit who offers you a cut of his gold from a recent raid on an independent farm" (10 to 40 gold)
• "you are visited by a bandit who offers you his cut from a recent raid on a caravan" (30 to 80 gold)
• "you are visited by a bandit who offers you some gold he had stored from a raid a while back" (15 to 165 gold)
• "you are visited by a bandit who offers you some of the gold he got paid for raiding a small village" (20 to 150 gold)
• "you are visited by a bandit who offers you some of his stashed gold" (10 to 260 gold)

your options are

1. Accept the gold (+gold)
2. refuse the gold
3. to the dungeons (+1 prisoner)

you may as well accept the gold, it has no negative consequences even though it comes from a questionable source
