The Dragon's Kneecap was the second Tavern made in the game after The Thickblood Tavern, it is owned by Eswin Elf-Hater and is located in the Guildrow district of the Blackmarket.

Drinks

There are two drinks available at the tavern:

• Local Northern Ale (Priced at 2 gold each)
• Icewraith Brew (Priced at 12 gold each)

It is noted that the Dragon's Kneecap is the most expensive place to get a standard ale in the Blackmarket, with it costing 1 gold in both the Blackrow Tavern and the Pitside Tavern.

Things to do

There are several things to do in the Dragon's Kneecap:

• You can drink one of the two drinks for sale (with multiple random events possible)
• You can speak to the Bartender (11 unique dialogues)
• You can speak to a customer (many random unique dialogues)
• You can start the 'Blackmarket Pub Crawl' here
• You can watch a Brawl (and hire the winner if you wish)
• You can watch a Goblin Dancer
• You can play a game called Dragon, Wench, Knight
• You can watch a performance by the 'Wild Skalds' travelling band

Dragon's Kneecap World-Events and Reactions

The Dragon's Kneecap can be effected by many different world events, if the Blackmarket is under a goblin ban then the Dancing goblin will not be available, and the Blackmarket pub crawl poster will be slightly longer and will say 'and no goblins!' on it.

The Wild Skalds band will only appear in the Dragon's Kneecap once every fifth year, so the year 80, 85, 90, and so on.

If you own the Blackmarket Eswin Elf-Hater's response to 'Who runs the Blackmarket?' will be 'Well, It's you? is this a trick question.'

During the Century festival the tavern will undergo several changes, the intro dialogue will be different, saying 'you enter the Dragon's Kneecap, a small tavern tucked away between the guildhalls, the Tavern's owner welcomes you 'Hail friend, happy century to you!'

Eswin will also have a different introduction when you greet him to speak to him, and a new question will be available 'Tell me about the Century Festival'.

You also will be unable to watch a brawl here during century festival as everyone is in good spirits and will instead get the following screen.

Trivia

The Dragon's Kneecap Tavern was named in reference to the tavern in the cancelled pilot series 'Korgoth of Barbaria', in the intro to the episode a bunch of goblins stand outside of a tavern called the 'The Whores Nipple' with a man claiming the sign was mispelt and the tavern is actually called 'The Dragon's Kneecap'
