the Hatmaker's Emporium is a location in the Dockrow area of the Blackmarket, the shop is managed by a man named Perwinkle and is soley responsible for all the hates used in the gameworld.

The Emporium can appear from the outside in one of two states, a small building with a sign that says 'HATS' or a larger multi-pillared building with a large door and the word 'HATS' which an exclamation mark next to it, it may only appear in this second state if you as ruler of Aslona declare the bizarre law of Forced Hats whereby everyone in the land must wear a hat.

Inside the building regardless of upgrade size you can do a variety of things, including:

• Asking the Hatmaker one of 6 general questions
• Looking at one of the 13 different hats on show
• Create your own hat

The hats for sale

There are a total of 13 hats available in the emporium each given a name and a brief description, these are:

• The Eastern Cross Hat
• The Eastern Plain Hat
• The Eastern Phlanx Hat
• The Tutor Hat
• The Polki Hat
• The Top Hat
• The Arrow Tail Hat
• The Half-Hammer Hat
• The Fish Body Hat
• The Pin Hat

Creating your own hat

Creating your own hat allows for your own designed head gear to be added to the worlds pool of hats, in the Hat editor you can add a new layer to the hat, remove the last line and test your hat on a random head, you have no limit to the size of the thing so let your imagination wild, it is possible to recreate any of the hats available above with ease.
