Firstly I would change the default passwords. This is probably the easiest way for hackers to gain access to your network, because you can easily find default passwords online, and trying the default passwords is probably the first thing hackers would do.

Secondly, I would enable MAC address filtering. I would do this because even if hackers get access to my SSID, they wouldn't be able to get on the network if their MAC address isn't allowed.
