Question 1: Name and give a brief description of 4 of the LAN topologies discussed in class
- Bus
all the workstations, servers and printers are joined to one cable

each device on a network has its own cable that connects to a switch or hub
- Mesh
Network setup where each computer and network device is interconnected with one another
- Ring
Data packet on the network travels in one direction. Each device receives each packet in turn until the destination device receives it.

- Application layer
