2:18:02 VICTOR LI : I tried to run "=BDH("CUKR1U5 CBIN Curncy ","PX_LAST","20220101,""")" 22:18:07 BLOOMBERG HELP DESK : When downloading CDS price/spread data to Excel, you may experience the following issues:
- Errors (#N/A N/A)
- Data not matching the Terminal
These issues are due to your pricing source settings. The most common provider of CDS price/spread data on the Terminal is from CMA (CMAN, CMAL, CMAT, CMAI, and CMAQ sources). This data is NOT available in Excel without an additional subscription.
To find an alternative to CMA pricing that is available in Excel, load the CDS in the terminal and run {ALLQ }. Pricing sources like CBIN, CBIL, and CBIT are generated by Bloomberg and free in Excel. These pricing sources are not available on all tickers.

The source is comprised of an extensive list of other Bloomberg CDS sources selected based on a preference waterfall. Each CDS ticker is independently evaluated in a manner designed to find the most recent and most reliable price. Specifically, BEST provides the freshest available price from a list of tiered price sources. The bottom tier uses theoretical pricing sources from Bloomberg’s extensive coverage for CDS sector curves and CDS modeled spreads from Bloomberg’s Merton structural approach to default risk. 23:40:59 BLOOMBERG HELP DESK : Thanks for your time on the call.
