Getting Started

Requirements

  • Android 8.0+ (API 26) device with BLE advertising support (android.hardware.bluetooth_le)
  • Bluetooth ON
  • Runtime permissions:
    • Bluetooth — API 31+ (Android 12+)
    • Location — API 30 and lower (Android requires it for BLE scan)
    • Notifications — API 33+ (for the foreground service control notification)

Not every phone supports BLE advertising. Some vendors lock the advertiser (Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei and others restrict it in parts of their firmware); the app reports the failure instead of pretending to run.

Install

  1. Download BleDroid-release.apk (or BleDroid-debug.apk) from the Actions artifacts, or build locally — see Building and Signing.
  2. Allow installation from unknown sources when prompted.
  3. Grant the permissions the app requests on first launch.

The debug build installs alongside the release build (com.bledroid.debug suffix), so both can coexist on one device.

Usage

  1. Open a category: Fast Pair, Apple, Samsung, Swift Pair, Lovespouse, Mix All.
  2. Select target devices (search, select all / deselect all).
  3. START. A foreground notification shows the live packet count; stop from the notification, the control bar, or the dashboard.
  4. Spam Radar: START SCAN and watch classified devices appear in real time — protocol, RSSI, MAC, raw payload hex.

Settings

  • Advertising interval: 10–10000 ms
  • TX power
  • Foreground service on/off
  • Keep screen on during spam
  • Theme: system/light/dark, OLED black, theme color

Custom BLE

Build arbitrary Service Data or Manufacturer Data advertisements from hex input; presets are provided for common layouts.
