Subtle interactions with AI AND increased recognition by AI - Hjr1993331/IT115 GitHub Wiki

Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is no longer in the near future. No longer science fiction. It’s here in the present and has been here for many years. We could be interacting with AI and maybe not have known. There is even a voice assistant in our smartphones. With Apple's voice assistant, Siri and with Google Assistant. There is even an AI living in our houses. With Amazon's home assistant Alexa. AI is growing in popularity within the tech industry. With huge investment into natural language chat bots in customer service. The majority of us can tell between human and robot. There are datasets being utilized to train natural processing algorithms. As more and more years go by, it will get increasingly hard to recognize people and robots.

With deep learning and supervised models of machine learning with reinforcement learning. An algorithm to match our speech patterns and interpreting from our own human language. It will make it harder to know if there is a human or a robot on the opposite end. As many other people will prefer to ask for information and or assistance.

If AI fulfills their promises as an intelligent machine. With the machine being effective and accurate at answering and interpreting our questions. That could change. Given the development of the innovation customer service chat bots, 2020 could be the first run through a significant number of us interacting with a robot without acknowledging it.

Maybe significantly more unsettlingly, There will be a roll out of facial recognition technology that is likely to intensify later as we move into this new decade. With not only China implementing facial recognition technology but around the entire world. Governments and corporations are investing into these new kinds of methods to identify us and to interpret our behavior and activity.

However, there is some push back against this new technology. San Francisco, the first major city to ban facial recognition. This ban was moved forwarded by the police and municipal agencies. Other cities will likely follow in 2020. With this new facial recognition technology, there will be people who will ultimately accept the violation. With return of increased security and benefits it will bring. There will be a fierce debate of this technology for the next few years.
