6. Merge Suzuki et al. (2018), Bamber et al. (2018), Depoorter et al. (2013) to generate version 1.4 (= version 1.5)

Make sure that a symbolic link is created to the 2012-2016 mean of Bamber et al. (2018) as the latest year data of discharge from Greenland

Merging three datasets

      • ../linkdir/river/data_etc/mask_CaaGrnArc.gd (For grid points with mask index = 6, data from runoff.YYYY is replaced by that of Bamber (2018).)

      • ../linkdir/river/jra55-do-v1_4-river/liquid_runoff.YYYY (liquid phase), solid_runoff.YYYY (solid phase)

Check globally averaged annual mean data

  • Work place is runoff
    • Program/namelist: src/separated_runoff_noyrev.F90, namelist.separated_runoff_noyrev_jra55-do-v1_4_template
    $ ./separated_runoff_noyrev_sum_v1_4.sh 1958 2019
       output ---> **jra55-do-v1_4-sep** (Increase after year 2000.)
  • GrADs: runoff_comp_v1_3_and_v1_4_latest.gs, greenland_total_ann_v1_3_and_v1_4_latest.gs
    • png files will be generated in figs directory
