Virtual Camera Configuration Using Two PS3Eye Cameras
NOTE: This process is only if you want to test using fake stereo cameras
- Plug in 2 ps3 eye cameras and set side by side
- Follow ps3eye software setup: https://github.com/cboulay/PSMoveService/wiki/PSEye-Software-Setup-%28Windows%29
- Launch and then close
dist/Win64/release/bin/PSVRConfigTool.exeto generate config files - Open
%appdata%/PSVRSERVICE/TrackerManagerConfig.json - Set "virtual_stereo_tracker_count" to 1
- Re-Launch
dist/Win64/release/bin/PSVRConfigTool.exeto generateVirtualStereoCamera_0.jsonconfig file - Make note of the USB paths for the two cameras that were opened in the output log window
ex:
USB\\VID_1415&PID_2000\\b1_p3.3andUSB\\VID_1415&PID_2000\\b1_p4 - Open
%appdata%/PSVRSERVICE/VirtualStereoCamera_0.jsonand set the USB device paths for the left and right camera - Print out the calibration mat in
misc\calibration - Launch
PSVRConfigTool.exeand open the "Calibrate Stereo Tracker" tool under the "Tracker Settings" - Calibrate the stereo camera using the calibration checkerboard
- You might want to do this a few times because it's easy to get weird distortion calibrations
