The Pilot Card component will let you create your own pilot cards, including introducing new characters and their abilities, creating new ship types and even new factions!
When you write special pilot abilities (or custom ship abilities) you can use a number or special tags in order to insert x-wing icons or special header phrases. Just write the tag including "<" and ">" characters and it will automatically be replaced with the corresponding icon in the card render. In the "Custom Ship" tab in the Pilot Card user interface you will be able to create your own ship types, or modify existing ships.
In order to enable the Custom Ship tab you must first select "custom" in the ship type drop down menu under "Basic Information"
In order to keep consistency with the official cards, it is recommended that you order the ship actions in descending order according with the action drop down menus (focus action should appear above lock action for instance).
In the "Custom Faction" tab in the Pilot Card user interface you will be able to create your own factions.
In order to enable the Custom Faction tab you must first select "custom" in the faction drop down menu under "Basic Information"
