Development – Jira Tickets SCRUM-5 and SCRUM-89: Resolved SCRUM-5 and SCRUM-89 by developing the initial client-side front page using React and Vite. Extended the frontend to include user authentication and profile management features, implemented entirely on the client side using React's useState for state management.
Code Reviews: Reviewed SCRUM-12 (Implement Server) and SCRUM-17 (Implement Database), checking that the code worked as intended and met the project's requirements. Looked for minor improvements, potential issues, and opportunities to improve code readability and overall quality where applicable.
Testing Support: Tested SCRUM-12 (Implement Server) on my personal device to verify that the server was functioning properly and that its main features worked as expected in a local environment.
Meetings and Administration: Attended and actively participated in all Sprint 1 meetings, contributing to team discussions, following project progress, and staying up to date with assigned tasks, development updates, and sprint objectives. Posted personal AI Usage Log to the repository
Capacity: Worked for 15hours /week
Team Member: Nazila Hoche Abdi:
Tasks Completed: Implemented the MongoDB database connection and initial data models (SCRUM-17), including User, Resume, JobPosting, and Application schemas. Set up the database queries folder structure with reusable query functions for Users, JobPostings, and Applications (SCRUM-25). Extracted the resume feature's inline database calls into a dedicated query file to match the team's established pattern (SCRUM-103). Verified new Sprint 1 functionality was correctly persisting to the database, including testing the full resume upload/download cycle end-to-end (SCRUM-87).
Code Delivered: config/db.js, MongoDB connection setup models/User.js, Resume.js, JobPosting.js, Application.js (core data models) queries/userQueries.js, jobPostingQueries.js, applicationQueries.js (reusable database functions) queries/resumeQueries.js and the corresponding resumeRoutes.js refactor testDb.js,standalone script used to verify database connectivity and CRUD operations
Peer Review & QA: Reviewed and approved the resume upload and management PR (SCRUM-23), including a full manual test of all CRUD operations (create, view, replace, delete) against the live database using authenticated API requests. Verified file integrity end-to-end by downloading a stored resume and confirming it matched the original file exactly.
Administration: Documented and maintained the team's Sprint 1 meeting minutes, including attendance, decisions made, and action items. Uploaded my personal AI Usage Log to the repository. Set up my individual AI_Log subdirectory following the team's required folder structure.
