Who are we
Formerly DataGovs was a convening between CIOS at the city and county level. DataGovs is the Smart Region Data Collaborative initiative to improve municipal services and government efficiencies; foster intergovernmental collaboration, innovation, and strategic partnerships; and, advance smart cities' collaboration in the Miami-Dade County region and South Florid region in general.
What is the challenge?
Locally the government often struggles with collaboration effort at the County level across different municipalities. Problems include data integration, municipal data interoperability, data formatting and standardization, jurisdictional silos and limitations, privacy, and security.
Our Approach
We believe at the County level encouraging teamwork, partnership and collaborative efforts with Microsoft in the room will elevate data governance. We can share best practices, data-sharing frameworks, innovation strategies leveraging exponential technologies.
