RSS — Robotics: Science and Systems
RSS is the field's most selective single-track robotics venue (~200 papers/year). Its manipulation coverage skews method-frontier and real-robot-first: the 2026 edition is where RL-from-deployment-experience (π*0.6/RECAP), humanoid foundation models (Ψ₀), and the evaluation-infrastructure wave all landed as orals.
Surveys
- RSS 2026 — VLA & Manipulation Survey — Sydney, July 13–17, 2026; 210 papers, ~116 in scope. Six threads: the VLA improvement loop (RECAP + RL ecosystem), human-video transfer (emergence vs decoupling), video/world models vs VLA backbones, contact-as-representation, cross-embodiment dexterous hands, and evaluation infrastructure. All 116 in-scope papers have per-paper pages (15 figure-illustrated analyses incl. the Ψ₀ in-depth; the rest verified-abstract reference pages), every one linked from the full paper index (session tables split to their own page for fast rendering).
