Each town will have a village leader who can give missions, tell you were enemies are, and tell you what the current security situation is.

How to find the village leader

The village leader will be close to the town marker, and will be next to a flagpole with a pink civilian flag, wearing a suit with a pink shirt. The village leader will not be in the same place every time you visit the town, so you may need to search the area around the marker, to a radius of 30m.

Village Leader Options

Ask about enemy activity

Using this option will cause the village leader to tell you the direction of the closest enemy forces and their distance. The village leader will only give a general distance of "Less than 300m", "Less than 1000m", or "Further than 1000m".

Ask about intelligence (request mission)

Village leaders will not always give you missions when you ask. You can only ask for missions once every 30 seconds. A secure area will not give missions at the village leader. The chances of receiving a mission are dependent on the security situation:

• Red - 20% Chance of mission
• Orange - 40% chance of mission
• Yellow - 60% chance of mission
• Green - 80% chance of mission

The following missions are available from village leaders:

• Clear outpost
• Rescue hostage
• Destroy utility vehicle
• Destroy roadblock
• Clear Area
• Capture HVT

Ask about Local Security

If you ask about the local security situation, the village leader will tell you how secure the area is by percentage, with 100% being the area is secured and the marker blue.

• Blue - 100%+
