Keep the eras distinct

These galleries preserve source-generation differences instead of silently applying a modern image to a legacy entry. The output is a visual record, not a compatible merged mod.

Minecraft AoA release Candidate records Nonblank renders
1.20.1 3.7.1 2544 2503
1.16.5 3.6.11 2696 2638
1.12.2 3.3.6 2466 2459

1.12.2 candidate counts cover the unambiguous normalized localization/model joins, not all names or the full registry. The other generations use localized entries with model resolution; leftover assets can remain in an archive. Pixel-exact game-render parity has not been certified.

Remaining work

Legacy creature galleries and the inspected 1.16.5 roster are now documented; current appearance accounting separates body portraits, particles and player-skin/invisible cases. 1.7.10 binary acquisition and its dedicated renderer remain separate tasks. Custom/unmatched models are recorded as gaps, not replaced with invented images.

1.12.2 source-mapped entity portraits

Browse the 1.12.2 entity atlas: 467 mapped model/texture presentations across 447 source entity IDs, including variants and non-living resources. Thirteen galleries include source-model and renderer links; remaining inherited/procedural mappings are listed explicitly. These are reference renders, not proof of a playable conversion.

Dynamic fluid bucket supplements

21 source-defined bucket appearance studies cover 18 entries from 1.16.5 and three from 1.20.1. Fifteen legacy entries require the Tinkers integration for bucket registration. These are first-frame masked-layer studies with explicit rendering limits, separate from the regular atlas count.
