Baronator: nostalgic weight and spectacle
Current gameplay direction: original behavior is the baseline, not the ceiling. Attachments may intentionally increase damage/projectile count and change firing patterns, resources and effects. See Functional weapon upgrades. Accidental duplicate callbacks remain bugs; deliberate multishot is a feature.
Concept exploration, not a finished model or game screenshot. Preserve the original red/graphite/silver identity, compact red rear shoulder and two vertically stacked barrels. The owner's requested rhythm is upper barrel, then lower, with weighty independent recoil and recovery that evokes a miniature naval broadside.

Working critique
- A stays closest to the original compact industrial silhouette and red-front housing. Strongest nostalgia anchor.
- B adds fortress-like weight and more deliberate material separation, but must avoid becoming unnecessarily long or bulky in first person.
- C is more sculptural and aggressive; its swept armor risks drifting farther from the original.
These are assistant assessments. No variant is labeled finally owner-approved. Use A's recognizable proportion and B's sense of mass as the current comparison baseline while keeping all original game behavior.
Requirements before accepting a model
- Compare the actual source sprite, concept and real mesh at item-icon and gameplay scales.
- Keep exactly two vertically stacked primary visual barrels, with upper/lower recoil phase clarity.
- Preserve a full-size comfortable grip and generous control clearance. Never shrink a trigger or hand to hide clipping.
- Make optional resource/feeding presentation physically connected and understandable; no floating magazine or handle intersection.
- Preserve the native AoA resource and special-effect contract. Alternating visuals must match the intentionally configured server-authorized shot count or lose the separate native bonus grenade behavior.
- Separate optional reload presentation from native firing admission and resource payment.
- Use original sound layers and bounded, readable muzzle effects. Offer reduced flash and camera-motion settings.
- Prove interrupted animation, all views, native first/third-person, multiplayer, saved data and measured performance.
The concepts set the visual target. Existing numerical geometry checks are useful scaffolding; passing them alone is not visual acceptance.
