Preforming statistical calculations - Henry-Posada/s-pgraphmaker GitHub Wiki

Starting the program

Once you have the program downloaded and all the necessary files on your machine, all you need to do to start the program is to run the GUI.java file. Once that is done you should be greeted with this screen.

Loading Data

To load some data for your calculations, go to the toolbar at the top of the program, select "File" then "Open". That will open your file explorer and from there you can choose what .csv file you want to load into the program.

Opening the calculations menu

Now lets open the menu for calculations, just like earlier we are going to go to the toolbar at the top, select "Calculations" and then "Mean, Median, Mode, Range". It should look like this.

Then once you do that you should have the following window on your screen.

From here you can select the column of data that you want to preform a calculation on and click the calculation you want, my data set is about cars so I'll calculate the mean of their MPG's.

And there you have it. Keep messing around and you are sure to get the hang of it in no time.
