xpl-zibase

xpl-zibase is a Zodianet ZiBase gateway for the xPL home automation protocol.

It allows to :

  • Receive RF messages from the ZiBase (many supported protocols : X10, Chacon, X2D...)
  • Send RF commands to devices configured in the ZiBase

This work is heavily using and based on the great xpl-perl suite by Mark Hindess : http://www.xpl-perl.org.uk/.

PREREQUISITES

To use this application, you have to own a ZiBase home automation controller (see http://www.zodianet.com). The ZiBase has to be configured/working, and has to be on the same subnet as the server running this xpl-zibase client (because of UDP broadcast use).

INSTALLATION

To install this module type the following: perl Makefile.PL make make install You can then read the manpage of xpl-zibase for common usage.

xPL::Base

xPL::Base Module is provided by the xpl-perl package by Mark Hindess and can be downloaded from http://www.xpl-perl.org.uk/.
