Oscar are uncommon. spawns in wet rainforest biomes. They always spawn in schools of 2-4 fish.
As ambient, timid. animals, they can be picked up. without issue. They can also be picked up in a bucket.
Oscar cannot be tamed, but are still perfect for your exhibits anyways! As medium speed animals, it may take you a couple of tries.
Oscar have 2 hearts (4 points) of health, can deal 0 hearts of damage, and drop raw Oscar upon death.
As ambient animals, they do not need specialized care.
Oscar can be bred with termites.
Raw Oscar is a food item obtained from Oscar when killed, and is part of several diets to feed tamed animals.
Eating one raw oscar restores 2 hunger.
