Spawning and taming

Discus fish are common. spawns in wet rainforest biomes. They always spawn in schools of 3-5 fish.

As ambient, timid. animals, they can be picked up. without issue. They can also be picked up in a bucket.

Discus fish cannot be tamed, but are still perfect for your exhibits anyways! As fast speed animals, it may take you a couple of tries.

Discus fish have 2 hearts (4 points) of health, can deal 0 hearts of damage, and drop raw discus fish upon death.

As ambient animals, they do not need specialized care.

Discus fish can be bred with earthworms.

Raw Discus fish is a food item obtained from Discus fish when killed, and is part of several diets to feed tamed animals.

Eating one raw discus fish restores 2 hunger.
