Add Language

1. Go to Languages & Layouts.
2. Tap the language you want to add.

Switch Language

Cannot Switch / Choose Layout

• Switching or choosing a layout is only possible when Use system languages is disabled.
• Once disabled, you can select the layout by tapping on the language.

Multilingual Typing

• This allows you to type in multiple languages without switching manually.
• Steps:
  1. Go to Languages & Layouts.
  2. Select your main language.
  3. Tap the text below **Multilingual typing to add a secondary language.

Notes:

• Only languages with the same script as the main language can be selected.
• A dictionary must exist for the secondary language.
  • Example: To use Finnish as a secondary language, first go to Dictionary settings and add a Finnish dictionary.

German

• German (Germany) layout: includes umlauts by default.
• German layout: does not include umlauts.
• Both layouts can be customized as needed.
