Home - HeleneFi/The_Project GitHub Wiki

This is part of The Project at the Next Hedge Github set up as a collaboratory around the idea of Collaborating Like a Hacker inspired by @harlantwood's well appreciated blog post: What if we checked the commons into Github.

The initiative concurs with Clay Shirky's recent call to use the technology of distributed version control made available thanks to open source ethos and practices, such as available in Github, for wide scale collaborative projects with social orientation and scope (laws, blueprints, requirements, best practices etc...) that can benefit from crowd incremental participation.

Our empowered affirmation capability augmented by the expansion of the types of medias available implies more participation as well as more argumentation and diversity of approaches which makes it more difficult to coordinate on structure, priorities, plans... Being able to cooperate while cutting the amount of coordination required provides effective ways to deal with interdependencies and synchronization and reduces the divergences occurring within our overarching convergence.

This wiki will serve as a aggregator of Reference-Conversations and sandbox for the building a repository.

Our initiatives self-expand from the aggregation resulting of the attraction they generate!

Crowd sourcing actual projects, products and productions will become a sophisticated art. Purposeful but swarmy.
