As a last resort, the United Nations has received a message that said there were excellent cyborg soldiers who undertake battle in the remote region in exchange of money. That region is called ‘Out Zone’.

The user will play as the strongest cyborg soldier, who have been commissioned to the legendary space death squad. The mission is rescue your comrades and shuttle craft form the Out Zone.

##Regular pickups:

######PowerUp:

A notable upgrade for the weapon that the player is using at the moment he get it. Normal weapons can be upgraded three times and super weapons cannot be upgraded. The Power up change the damage and the bullets of the weapon upgraded.

powerup

######Bomb:

Every player starts with three bombs and can get a max number of ten. Every bomb pickup adds one to your total bombs.

bomb

Simple Powerups and bombs appear by destroying various enemies, at semi-random locations in the game. Enemies that deliver bonuses usually appear as the only red enemy in a squadron. But sometimes there are other enemies that also offer pickups.

######Energy Boxes:

This futuristic box contains an Energy recharge. Energy recharges are the most important object of the game. So this objects wouldn’t give you upgrades or extra lives but will partially restore your energy bar, in other words your life. If your energy tank is empty before finish the level your character will start to go slower and finally die.

Energy content* Energy

######Change Boxes:

This metallic box contains a Change object. This object change the multidirectional mini gun for the fixed three-way shotgun or the reverse. Here is where the player have to choose between a more focus damaging machinegun useful in some scenes or a large rang but less damaging shotgun useful in other scenes like open fields.

Change content* change

Energy and Change contents appear at specific zones of the maps and if you die they reappear from the zone you start the game. There are always a Energy and Change content before a boss battle.

##Super pickups:

Apart from the regular pickups there are 6 extra bonuses that randomly appear like PowerUp and Bomb but Super pickups have a little chance to appear so you have to be fortunate to get some of them and is practically impossible find all in only one party.

###Super Weapons:

######Super Burner:

This is a giant flame-thrower that burns everything inside his range but weapon have the shortest range of all the game so pickup it is a bad idea. Super Burner can only be useful at the first map but if you get it in a boss scene or in a labyrinth you are dead because have more range than you.

Superburner

######Super Ball:

This is the most powerful weapon but is difficult to control. Keep the fire button pressed and the super ball will turn around the player at a fixed radius. The distance between the player and the ball can seem insufficient for be useful but if you release the attack button the ball will go straight forward. So in the same weapon you have like a mortal medium range shield and a powerful gun of energy balls with infinite range. This weapon is useful in all the levels but specially in the boss scenes where if you dominate the weapon defeat the boss will be a cinch.

Superball

###Super Poweups:

######Shield:

This super powerup can initially be confused with the super ball because colors and shapes are so close. If you want to play more peacefully shield is your super powerup. Shield protects you from one hit shoot but the problem is that don’t protect you from fall down in a hole se be careful from level two.

shield

######1UP:

This super powerup is a classic of arcade machines where the user lives cost money. 1UP simply gives one more live to your character. This super powerup is the most difficult to find.

1up

######Energy Extend:

This is a passive super powerup that upgrades your energy bar and extend its capacity. So with energy extend you have more time to complete the level. This super powerup combined with shield will convert the game into a simple walk dodging bullets.

Energy extend

######Speed Up:

This super powerup is the only that don’t have a really random drop. Speed Up is normally dropped in the mechanical snakes area at level four. If you pickup it be carefully because is a real booster and can make you lose the control of your character. It can be useful at open field zones but at platforms and labyrinths the game becomes more challenging.

##Gameplay:

######Controls:

With the arrows your character moves in eight directions up, down, left, right, and a middle direction between them up-left, up-right, down-left, down right. For the actions we have two buttons, one is for shoot and the other is for activate the bombs. In arcade machine those will be obvious but in the emulator you can use the keys that you want and in a flash version the ones that are asigned.

When you are playing with the multidirectional mini gun and the super-burner the character looks and shoots where you are moving, if you move to the left the character will shoot to the left, and the mini gun is automatic, you just have to press and hold the shoot button to shoot infinitely.

When you are playing with the fixed three-way shotgun or the super ball the character will always look and shoot to the front. This shotgun is semiautomatic this means that you have to press the shoot button everytime you want to shoot.

The bomb button is used to activate the bombs which destroy everything that is in the screen. It is semiautomatic too, everytime you press the button a bomb will be activated.

######Character:

Every time the character gets hitted by a pojectile or an enemy, he loses a life and have to restart from a checkpoint behind.

His movement is limitted, sometimes the floor has holes and the main character can fall into the holes, also the character has colisions with the walls and he can just move forward, he can't return to earliest stages instead of dying and starting in the checkpoint.

The character can also dies if the energy bar is empty, this will happen if the character tooks to much time to pass an stage, to regenerate the energy bar you have to take energy from the boxes in the level or defeating the final boss of each level. When the player loses all his lives he will respawn two checkpoints before the point he died and will lose a credit, if he hasn't more credits the game will return to the main menu.

If the character don't move forward during 5 seconds an arrow with the message go-ahead will appear indicating the directon you have to go.

######Non-Character:

Enemies will try to destroy the main character, there are two types of enemies, the ones that shoot to the character and the ones that shoot in some directions. When the enemies get out from the screen because the player has move they automatically disapear and can't shoot from behind or chase the hero. There are enemies that can't move like the turrets and the ones that actually can like the basic enemies from the beginning.

When the character arrives at the end of a stage he has to fight against a boss, when the battle beggin is the only moment the camera moves individually and stays fixed until the fight ends.

When you pass some checkpoints without dying, red enemies will come eventually, those enemies let a power up when they die

######Walls:

In some levels there are walls that creates tricky paths. This walls adds a strategy factor: the 3 shot gun is better than the multidirectional mini gun in all the situations except this because the shoots can't pass against the wall, so, you must choose between the guns depending if the next part of the map will have walls or not.

Also the walls can be used as a protection.

######Checkpoints:

Every level is divided in diferent parts like a part that is a open field and enemies will come from your front or a bridge that limites your horitzontal movement, the holes part, the zones that uses walls to create a path or the boss battles. Every time you pass from a zone to other there is a check point and if the zone is really large it will have some more checkpoints inside

###Easter Eggs:

######FlyingShark squadron:

######High speed cars:

This is a very unknown easter egg. At several locations, cars may cross the screen at high speed giving lots of points when destroyed. We don't find photos, so the cars cross the screen very fast and is an a surprising event that the player don't expect.

######Hiden 5000 point:

In the metal mazes of level 3, check out this area. There's an hidden 5000 points bonus available simply by walking into the dead-end on the left. Just walk until you reach the point where the 5000 is displayed on the right picture, and you get the bonus.

######Pipiru:

Pipiru is the Tolplan mascot. For complete this easter egg, In the first half of level 1, opposite to the red cannon on the right, you'll see 2 holes in the rocks (See picture). At that point, you must be equiped with the 3 way shot to unlock the easter egg.Aim at the smallest of the 2 holes with the left beam of you 3 shot, and you'll see a "pipi" indication appearing. Keep shooting until a large purple creature pops out of the rocks.

Pipiru is harmless and won't damage the ennemies either, it will just float around all over the screen, and it's vulnerable to your shots. After a few shots, it will reduce and start bouncing around, then eventually explode. If you arrive to the end of level 1 and pipiry is still alive you will get 30000 points.
