Ceramic is a new block type that can be dyed a multitude of colors, similarly to Leather Armor.

Ceramic Clay can be crafted using three Clay Balls and Feldspar. Ceramic Clay can be used to craft usable ceramic items, such as Fermentation Vessels and Jars. Smelting Ceramic Clay will produce a Ceramic Tile item.

Ceramic Tile items can be used to craft a multitude of dyeable Ceramic Blocks:

Ceramic Tiles can be made into additional variants:

• Cracked Ceramic Tiles
• Ceramic Tile Pillar
• Ceramic Mosaic

Normal Ceramic Tiles and Ceramic Mosaics can be made into stairs and slabs as well.

Each Ceramic Tiles variant can be converted into a checkered variant by using and Artisan Brush. If the color of the brush matches the block's (and it is dyed), then shift-clicking the block will cycle through checkered and normal variants.

Ceramic Buttons, Levers & Pressure Plates

The activation cooldown of both Ceramic Buttons and Pressure Plates are much faster than other variants. Ceramic Buttons take 10 ticks to press, around a quarter the ticks of a Stone Button. Ceramic Pressure Plates take 2 ticks to press.
