It is generally understood that the children of Pelor are born of clay, and become unbodied when they can no longer spend their time among the living. The majority of mortal races are thus considered clay in the Constant faith. It should be noted that this is a meta/paraphysical relation, creatures are made of many component parts and not 'clay.'

Dragons, changelings and fey of the Spine are exceptions. Descended directly from the lineage of aether, these people view themselves as Impart Tell's progeny -- unshackled from the conventions of the relations between the sun and the sea.

In this way, these two groups might be considered the earliest ethno-religious groups in the Spine. Both are Constant, but have skirmished in the region since its establishment.
