This is a generic description of day types, like weekdays, weekends, holidays, etc. These attributes described by multiple PROPERTIES OF DAY TYPE
NeTEx: "A type of day characterised by one or more properties which affect public transport operation. For example: weekday in school holidays."

In NeTEx: Part 1 - 7.7.5.6
These properties are technically enums, like "day of week", "week of month" or "day of year", etc.

Attributes:
direction
,points on route
A single directed path through the networking following an ordered list of points on route
.
Note that in Jore 3, a single reitti defines two reitin suunta: two routes in the opposite directions. In NeTEx this would be modelled as two separate routes.
NeTEx: "An ordered list of located POINTs defining one single path through the road (or rail) network. A ROUTE may pass through the same POINT more than once".

infrastructure point
, e.g. a road junction
A point through which route(s)
may flow. The same route
may go through the same point multiple times.

-
Attributes:
from point
,to point
Connects two points as a link.
In Jore 3 each route link
points to a corresponding infrastructure link
.
In NeTEx each point may either be a route point
or a scheduled stop point
.
NeTEx: "an oriented link between two ROUTE POINTs allowing the definition of a unique path through the network."

In NeTEx: Part 1 - 8.4.5.5.5
-
Attributes:
route point
,route link
,order
Links a route point
with a route
. The order
attribute defines the order in which individual point on route
form the actual route
. An optional route link
points towards the next point on route
and is present on all but the last point on route
.
NeTEx: "A ROUTE POINT used to define a ROUTE with its order on that ROUTE."

Examples: a rail way terminal, two bus stops on the opposite sides of the road
A physical place, region or structure where vehicles may stop.
NeTEx: "A place comprising one or more locations where vehicles may stop and where passengers may board or leave vehicles or prepare their trip. A STOP PLACE will usually have one or more well-known names."
-
In Finnish: Laituri

In Jore 3: Pysäkki
-
In NeTEx: Part 1 - 8.5.4.5.6
NeTEx: "A part of StopPlace where passengers can board or disembark a vehicle. A place such as platform, stance, or quayside where passengers have access to PT vehicles, Taxi, cars or other means of transportation. A QUAY may serve one or more VEHICLE STOPPING PLACEs and be associated with one or more STOP POINTS. Quays do not have their own names. This information is inherited from the parent StopPlace."
-
In Finnish: Pysähdyspaikka (looginen)
-
In Jore 3: Pysäkki
-
In NeTEx: Part 1 - 8.6.3.4.2
-
Attributes:
measured_location
,direction
In Jore 4, scheduled stop points model logical stop points. They have a measured location and are associated with an infrastructure link.
A scheduled stop point may be associated with a timing place (Hastus place). A scheduled stop point associated with a timing place can be set as a timing point for a specific journey pattern, but only as a regular stop point for some other journey pattern.
NeTEx: "A POINT where passengers can board or alight from vehicles"
-
In Finnish: Ajoituspiste
-
In NeTEx: Part 1 - 8.4.7.4.1
NeTEx: "A POINT against which the timing information necessary to build schedules may be recorded."
-
In Finnish: Hastus-paikka
-
In Jore 3: Hastus-paikka
In Jore 3, Hastus places represent important route-specific stop places, which are used to e.g. synchronize timetables between multiple routes, or highlight a point where the vehicle speed changes significantly (e.g. the last stop before transitioning to a highway).
In Jore 4, an individual scheduled stop points can be associated with a timing place. A timing place can consist of several scheduled stop points.
Hastus glossary: "Places are locations on the transit network that can be used to define timing points, relief points, garages, and canteens."

-
Attributes:
is_used_as_timing_point
,is_loading_time_allowed
,is_via_point
In Jore 4, all points in the journey pattern are scheduled stop points. The attribute is_used_as_timing_point
indicates whether the scheduled stop point as part of the journey pattern is set as a timing point in that specific journey pattern. A single journey pattern may have any number of timing points, minimum amount is two: the first and last stop are always a timing point.
NeTEx: "A STOP POINT or TIMING POINT in a JOURNEY PATTERN with its order in that JOURNEY PATTERN."

In Jore 3 / Hastus: Autokierto, also sometimes called vuoro
-
In Hastus: Block
-
In NeTEx: Part 2 - 8.2.2.1.1
For HSL, this marks a section of a given day. E.g. when a bus has journeys in the morning (block no 1.), goes to the garage and then has journeys in the evening (block no 2.)
NeTEx: "The work of a vehicle from the time it leaves a PARKING POINT after parking until its next return to park at a PARKING POINT. Any subsequent departure from a PARKING POINT after parking marks the start of a new BLOCK. The period of a BLOCK has to be covered by DUTies."

In NeTEx: Part 2 - 7.2.1.1
This is a generic wrapper for a given route’s timetables for a given day type. From this, Transmodel inherits the types Service Journey (journey with passangers) and Dead Run (journey without passengers - e.g. from garage to first stop, or journey from last stop of route A to first stop of route B in the middle of the day)
NeTEx: "The planned movement of a public transport vehicle on a DAY TYPE from the start point to the end point of a JOURNEY PATTERN on a specified ROUTE."

In NeTEx: Part 2 - 7.2.13.5.1
This tells that when does a vehicle arrive and depart from a scheduled stop point for a given vehicle journey.
NeTEx: "Time data concerning public transport vehicles passing a particular POINT; e.g. arrival time, departure time, waiting time."
