03 User Engagement & Feedback Loops - HHS/OPRE-OPS GitHub Wiki
OPRE staff are active participants in the design and direction of OPS. The team has several feedback loops to ensure user needs are understood and validated along the way.
- We meet with OPRE leadership and OPS stakeholders 2-3x/week to discuss new priorities, understand evolving needs and validate our understanding exemplified through design or demos
- We meet with OPRE staff at several points throughout the research/design process;
- 1:1 or group interviews during strategic research (to understand processes, needs, workflows, etc)
- co-design sessions to share draft designs or options and refine based on feedback
- prototypes or demos to share new features, bug fixes or improvements and gather usability feedback or additional perspectives
- We review ongoing feedback or issues submitted to the team via our OPS-support email
- We track app performance metrics such as # of users signed in, session length, etc
- We facilitate prioritization and product vision activities that hi-light different user needs and impact/value considerations
