E. MOTOR SIZING AND BATTERY SIZING

The weight of the Leg Part is (m) = density * volume

Volume= l * b * h = 60mm * 9.5mm * 9.57mm = 5.4549cm^3

Density of the acrylic sheet is 1.185 g/cm^3

Mass = 1.185 * 5.4549 = 6.4641 g

Force = mass * acceleration due to gravity Force = 0.0065 * 9.8 = 0.0633 N

Torque = Force * Radius = 0.0633 * 0.0957 = 0.0061 Nm = 0.0618 kg-cm

Total Torque = Torque * Factor of safety = 0.0618 * 1.5 = 0.0927 kg-cm
