Rules

Breakout is a single player game where you play as a paddle bouncing a ball into bricks. The paddle sits at the bottom of the screen and can only move left or right. The ball is always moving and the player must bounce it into the eight rows of bricks in order to break them. A hit from the ball with break the brick and will bounce the ball away. If the paddle fails to hit rebound of the ball they lose.

Game Mechanics

Paddle(Player): Can move left or right at bottom of the screen.
Ball: Bounces off bricks and paddle
Brick: Is destroyed if hit by the ball. Eight rows of bricks at the top of the screen.
