Press Release - Groovy-Narwhal/GitAchieve GitHub Wiki
GitAchieve
Gamify your Git
Who's on top of their code game?
Compete with your fellow coders
For software engineers who want to add a competitive edge to their programming.
Summary
GitAchieve is a web application which rewards users for their GitHub activity, and allows them to compare themselves to other GitHub users.
Problem
As software engineers, we can end up feeling like Git commits are a chore we would rather not think about. GitAchieve adds positive reinforcement to the workflow, inspiring friendly competition amongst teams and fellow coders.
Solution
When you set up GitAchieve, you'll have instant access to data visualization of your commit history. See when you've been most productive and which projects you worked the most on. Friends Mode allows you to match up with another engineer who may be working on a different codebase. Challenge a user by adding their GitHub handle, and when they accept, your GitHub stats will be displayed alongside theirs. Team Mode is for GitHub organizations. When you add a team, the pace of development quickens and productivity increases naturally. Collaboration features allow you to celebrate achievements together.

Customer Quote
"Before we found GitAchieve, I was doing silly things like walking around with a bag of candy and sodas to keep people awake. Now, our standup meetings are actually interesting, and I'm like 'You did what in three hours!? That's AMAZING!'"
