AI based image distortion and organization, making art from existing images
How is it useful/related?
Image analysis is required to distort the images, in order to understand how to curate the art, the bots will be required to understand what makes up the image. Because of the abstract nature of both the deep dream style and the AI art creations, there is a tangible connection. Though deepdream relies on the distortion of existing images, it is ultimately up to the program on how to distort them, much in the same way that the agents create.

How is it useful/related?
The premise here is to sort images by similarity. Which is the secondary goal of the curators. The curators each look for specifics, so the images each of them select should all be similar enough. In addition there is a common trait between the two projects as the program takes existing assets and forms them into something new and unique in its own way.
Historical Example:
Bottega / Studiolo :
Bottega : The studio or workshop of a major artist in which other artists may participate in the execution of the projects or commissions of the major artist
Studiolo: A private study decorated with paintings and other works of art, popular in Italy from the 14th to the 16th centuries.
