Timetable - Gregory365/TPF2-Timetables GitHub Wiki
A timetable is a user-created schedule that defines what time a vehicle on a given line should depart at. To open the timetable window, load or create a game, then select the "Timetable" in the bottom left, next to your account.
- You can view and edit a line's timetable in the timetable window by selecting: Lines -> [Line name]
- You can view station aggregated timetable info in the timetable window by selecting: Stations -> [Station name]
Timetables are cycled on a 60 minute clock, starting at 00:00 and ending at 59:59. The clock will reset at the end of the 60th minute.
The timetable will contain the same stations as the line it belongs to. Each station has it's own timetable type, although these are almost always the same for every station on a line.
Timetable options
There are some options that can be applied to each line, that are all disabled by default. Usually, these can be ignored but they can provide some extra options for more fine control.
Force departure
When enabled, the vehicle will not wait for passengers to board or goods to be loaded before leaving the station. Therefore, at the calculated departure time, the vehicle will depart instantly. When force departure is disabled, the vehicle will depart only when all passengers/goods that can be loaded have been loaded, which may cause vehicles to leave later than timetabled.
Min. wait enabled
When enabled, the vehicles on the line will adhere to the minimum waiting times specified in the games line manager. For example, a station with a minimum wait time of 3 minutes and a train arriving at 04:15 would mean the vehicle must depart at or after 07:15.
Max. wait enabled
When enabled, the vehicles on the line will adhere to the maximum waiting times specified in the games line manager. For example, a station with a maximum wait time of 5 minutes and a train arriving at 13:45 would mean the vehicle must depart at or before 18:45. (Be aware that without force departure enabled, the vehicle may still leave after 18:45 if not all passengers/goods have been loaded.)
