The project originated out of an idea that we could solve the fundamental problem of starvation in remote locations of the world by providing employment opportunity in rebuilding the environment.

Using technology, we measuring tree planting efforts. We then quantify this data set as a digital asset that is used to link donor's funds to trees.

Our intent is to create an ongoing financial relationship between the planers and the tree. This relationsship is currently estimated to cost 3.5 cents/data point/per tree for the first two years of the trees life.

Questions:

• Land ownership- Not an issue we address. Trees bring wealth and in most parts of the world are valued. It is the responsibility of the planter to keep the tree alive. The does not have to own the tree or the land that the tree is on.
