Basic Case Assembly

NOTE: Please be careful with the case shell before fitting, and avoid flexing any parts, including the button tabs, until after the case is fitted to the shell.

Parts

4 x M2.5 hex nuts

4 x M2.5 * 35mm bolts

4 x M2.5 * 25mm white plastic spacers (Threaded hex)

4 x M2.5 * 2mm white plastic spacers (Unthreaded smooth)

4 x M2.5 * 1mm white plastic spacers (Unthreaded smooth)

2x Main acrylic case sheet

Recommended tools

PH00 screwdriver

[Optional] M2.5 hex wrench/spanner OR small mole grips

Instructions

  1. Connect all cables and jumper caps to your PCB according to the cable instructions for your system
  2. Place the four 25mm long bolts into the four holes marked on one of the plastic case sheets. The matte side of the sheet should face towards the head of the bolts.
  3. Place 4 x 1mm spacers thick plastic spacers
  4. Screw in the 25mm threaded hex spacer onto each bolt until fully tightened
  5. Place the PCB on the plastic spacers as shown
  6. [Optional] – It may help to temporarily add nuts to secure the PCB in place for the following steps
  7. Insert the 15mm long bolts into the holes shown and place the cables between the bolts
  8. If using a 2021 case, add the cable grip acrylic piece to the bolts over the cables as shown
  9. Use M2.5 nuts to lightly secure the grip in place
  10. Repeat steps 6 to 8 for the 2nd grip if 2 to 4 cables are used
  11. If not using the full cover, place four white 2mm thick plastic spacers onto each bolt. If using the full cover, place the cover over the unit and add a spacer on the remaining bolt
  12. Place the final case sheet atop the spacers, with the matte side of the sheet facing up
  13. Secure the top piece to the bolts with four nuts
