Some plants considered as crops can be found in various biomes of the game. Most of them are classified as wild and can only be cultivated after breaking them to obtain seeds, allowing for a tamed version that yields resources.

In Hexalia, crops are defined as plants that can either be harvested in their wild form to obtain seeds or obtained naturally from their blocks.

Wild Mandrake

Wild Mandrakes can be found in the Forest and Birch Forest biomes. Breaking them gives you Mandrake Seeds, which can be planted to grow Mandrakes.

Planting these seeds in farmland allows you to grow a tamed version of the Mandrake plant, which yields resources. However, be careful when breaking the plant, as it can scream and stun you if you are not wearing Earplugs. Earplugs

Mandrake

This plant can also be useful in combat, if you hold the Right Mouse Button for a few seconds, the Mandrake will scream in a radius of 5 blocks which applies the Stunned effect to nearby entities.

A harvested Mandrake can be used to make a new type of edible item, a Mandrake Stew, which grants the status effect Stuffed for 45 seconds.

Wild Sunfire Tomato

Wild Sunfire Tomatoes can be found in the Savanna biome as well as the Salt Oasis. Breaking them gives you Sunfire Tomato Seeds, which can be planted to grow Sunfire Tomatoes. Be cautious, as stepping on this plant will temporarily set you on fire.

Planting these seeds in Farmland allows you to grow your own tamed version of a Sunfire Tomato, which yield resources.

Sunfire Tomato

It can be used to create a Spicy Sandwich along with Bread and any cooked meat item. When eaten, this item restores hunger and saturation, as well as granting the Speed II status effect for 45 seconds.

Chillberries Bushes

Chillberries grows from bushes that can be found in the Taiga and Snowy Taiga biomes. This item does not have a Feral version, and the berries can be planted to grow more Chillberry Bushes, though be careful not to walk through the bushes when it has berries as it can freeze you.

These berries can be combined with Sugar, Egg and Wheat in order to create a Chillberry Pie, which restores hunger and saturation as well as granting the Fire Protection II status effect for 45 seconds.

Saltsprout

Saltsprout are plants that, as its name indicates, sprout in Salt Oasis. These can be crushed with a Mortar and Pestle to obtain Salt as well as other items.

Moon Berries

Moon Berries are obtained through the Moonlight Ritual after infusing Glow Berries with moonlight, these berries can be planted and grow from vines, similarly to Glow Berries.

These berries can be used to craft a Moon Berry Cookie, which can be eaten to obtain the Night Vision status effect for 30 seconds.
