GrandOrgue is a sample based pipe organ simulator. When connected to MIDI keyboards and an audio system, it can accurately simulate the sound of a real pipe organ. This application has builds for Linux, Windows and OS X.

Quickstart-Guide:
- Connect a MIDI capable Keyboard to your computer (and if necessary install all required drivers)
- Download and install GrandOrgue https://github.com/GrandOrgue/grandorgue/releases
- Download (and possibly extract) a sample set, see The Sample Sets wiki page (Many GrandOrgue versions also come bundled with a small demo sampleset).
- Start GrandOrgue and File->Open the .organ file (for old style distributions of samplesets), or File->Load an .orgue package that you've previously just moved to the organ packages folder (for new style distributions of samplesets)
- Right-click on the on-screen manual, press "Listen for Events" and press a key on your MIDI keyboard, then Ok to close the dialog.
- Click on some stops to activate them and start playing.
