Windows 10 Connectivity Issues - GoldenCheetah/GoldenCheetah GitHub Wiki

Some Windows 10 users report network connectivity no longer works for services like Strava or Todays Plan withe errors like Network Error or Error retrieving access token, Socket operation timed out (4).

Steps that has been proved useful to solve this problem include:

1. Make sure you are running GoldenCheetah 3.5 release or latest 3.6 release: https://github.com/GoldenCheetah/GoldenCheetah/releases
2. Make sure you do not have connectivity issues due to Windows 10 update 1809: https://github.com/GoldenCheetah/GoldenCheetah/wiki/Windows-10-Connectivity-Issues
3. Make sure you do not have connections blocked by Windows ISP firewall: https://www.technipages.com/blockunblock-programs-in-windows-firewall
4. Make sure you do not have conections blocked by Corporate or ISP firewalls: if you don't have control over firewall settings you may need to use a VPN.
